"What Shakespeare always dreamed of
but never dared to ask"

"A miracle blend of emotional immediacy
and fidelity to the text"

"A tableau vivant of condensed beauty"

Romeo and Juliet die for love. Why do they die?
Is it a love the world does not allow?

'Theatre of Now' searches for love amidst a world in opposition to it. Romeo and Juliet are aspects of ourselves waiting to be remembered. They are not just teenage lovers tied to a particular time and place.

The choice ultimately is between opening to love or being silenced by the forces of tradition, loyalty and circumstance.

A dynamic combination of physical theatre, improvisation and Shakespeare's original script.
