The aim of TheatreSpace is to create imaginative, spontaneous and entertaining theatre inspiring curiosity, wonder and mirth as much in the players as in the audience. ‘TheatreSpace’ combines query, imagination, will, intention, invention, time and place. At its heart is the fool – trickster, poet, shape-shifter, clown, hall of mirrors and innocent.

Creative License.  How does The Player respond – to an impulse, to a touch, to an emotion, to themselves, to each other, to the surroundings, to an invitation?

Stagecraft. Let’s learn about how to balance the stage, accept offers, project our voices, meet the audience (and be the audience!), relax, move, be still… Let’s make tableaux, let’s speak through emotion, and act with courage. Let’s find out where impulses go when they are not followed. Let’s improvise with a text, and practise to be spontaneous
